It is Spring here in Australia and the start of the dreaded exposed leg weather!
Actually, I love this time of year although I must admit the old legs have seen better days and have been nicely hidden under jeans and leggings for the last few months.
I have always enjoyed wearing shorts, much more than skirts, and never really had a body issue with my legs. Yes my knees are a bit knobbly and I am starting to get spider veins on the sides of my thighs but I mean come on, I am nearly 42 so some of these things you just have to accept.
Accepting myself is something I am working on and have certainly embraced more over the last few years. I am getting more confident and realising that everyone has their own issues and concerns about their bodies and it seems stupid to focus on things you simply cannot change.
And the reality is, not everyone that sees you out and about evens notices you let alone some cellulite or wobbly bits as you walk past them. And even if they do, you will never see them again so WHO CARES!
So why not crack out the fake tan (if you can be bothered or even care about that type of thing), get some cute denim shorts, and enjoy the change of season.

They are affordable and most of them were great, although I did have one pair that was super tight and I could not even do up the button. Now back in the day that might have made me feel bad about my size, but I simply told myself it was marked incorrectly and returned them!
